Private Wedding Band Making Workshop : By Appointment

In this private two session workshop, you will work alongside designer Cindy Horrigan to handcraft your wedding bands. The first class will be a wax carving session where we will use traditional wax carving techniques to create your rings in green carving wax. Between sessions your rings will be cast offsite at a casting house into your choice of 10K, 14K, or 18K gold. In the second session we will sand and polish your gold rings rings to completion. Each session will take approximately 3-4 hours. 

This class is designed for beginners, and no prior experience with jewelry making is required. It will take place in person at our Spring Street studio in downtown Los Angeles. The studio’s address will be sent via email after purchase. 

All tools and materials will be provided, but the class price does NOT cover the cost of your bands. You will be responsible for the full cost of your gold castings. We will weigh your waxes and determine approximate costs before casting them. If you wish to have any stones set into your rings or engravings added, this will also be done offsite and you will be responsible for those costs as well. Both of these will add extra turnaround time for your rings after our second class. 

Due to the inherent danger of jewelry making and its associated tools and processes, we do not allow students under 18 years of age to take this class. All students will be required to adhere to all safety measures and sign a safety and liability waiver before class begins. We reserve the right to deny access or remove any student who does not adhere to the studio's age and safety requirements. 

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:

To cancel a class for a full refund, you must contact us within 48 hours of purchase. After the initial 48-hour period, you may cancel your class for a credit up until 7 days before your class starts. The credit can be used towards another class or a purchase from the website.

If you cannot attend class for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible.

If you cancel or request a reschedule within 7 days of the start of your class, a 25% rebooking fee will be charged in order to rebook your class. If you cancel or request a reschedule within 3 days of the start of your class, a 50% rebooking fee will be charged in order to reschedule your class. No-shows will NOT receive a credit or refund of any kind.
